The Czech tennis player Renata Voracova has won her first doubles title in 2011 while the tournament was still called EMPIRE Trnava Cup. She reached this goal with a Slovak Fed Cup representative Janette Husarova, the only Slovak with a triumph in the finals of our tournament. Voracova has repeated a success in the 2012 season, when she was partnering with Elena Bogdan of Romania. The third title is from the last season when she succeeded in the finals partnering Mervan Jugic-Salkic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2014, Voracova decided to play at the EMPIRE Slovak Open with Yuliya Beygelzimer of Ukraine.

During the tournament, Renata does not stay at TC EMPIRE Trnava all the time. On the other hand, she has visited the historical centre. „It’s a nice and cosy town. It’s always pleasant to be back here again. I have to say that EMPIRE Trnava club and the organization of the tournament is excellent. The tennis players are wonderfully taken care of, the club meets the high quality standards,” adds Voracova.
